The 5 basic senses are touch, sight, hearing, smell and taste. It is our senses that interact with the world around us. Not an understatement the world has come to our doorstep having easy access to our senses.
Sight & hearing are the maximum abused and we need to discipline ourselves. The Divine gift of life needs a discipline to seeing and listening the majesty, magnificence and munificence of the divine soul. Our soul and body is accountable to the bad sounds, bad gossips, agitating nasty sounds we accept. Don’t let unnecessary sounds occupy the ear as it will affect the heart.
The eyes need to be controlled if one wants the soul to open. The insatiable appetite of the eyes never ends. That what we are looking for is not through the physical eyes. In fact as we close our eyes the outer vision stops and the inner vision of the heart begins.
Sensory Integration is the process by which we receive information through our senses, organize this in formation and use it to participate in everyday activities. Lately I did puzzle out, sensing a growing assault on our senses by a breed of select entrepreneur’s, professionals, activist etc. They contribute with too much information, coming fast and not necessarily factual. Competitiveness failing to develop skills like resilience, perseverance, & tenacity. Few in the noble profession have developed the greed disease, reflecting Few in the noble profession have developed the greed disease, by which the illness and treatment are magnified in some patients.
Justice is blind meaning impartial and objective but being blind folded the vision at times seems impaired with loopholes in law. We get influenced easily by sensory cues with positive ad messages, or brand endorsements by people who never use those products themselves and we pay their price.
”Vote For”, the shouts divide more than governance electing. I used to use the third side of the coin between heads & tails earlier to evaluate political choices, but now it seems a dice is required to pick a side best to govern us.
None of above is a coincidence; they are carefully calibrated and intended assault on our senses to control our Mind. Our mind is a beautiful place, it should not be an accumulation of doubts, fears or easily influenced by others. Control over senses means control over the mind which will ultimately results in supreme peace & infinite bliss.
