BECAUSE HE IS

Blessed are those who achieve the “Sehaj Avastha”, a state that signifies innate nature or one’s natural spontaneous self-shorn of all external conditioning influences that cramp the soul. Sehaj in Sikhism is a state of bliss without any anxiety, a state of freedom where the mind is calm and peaceful, a state of mental and spiritual equipoise without the least intrusion of ego; unshaken natural and effortless serenity attained through spiritual discipline.

Spiritual discipline helps link and maintain the communication with the divine. When one starts relating with Holy Scriptures it importance is only understood; that it’s a product of divine inspiration, guidance for a meaningful living, the need to penance for our bad deeds, a guide for specific prayers being made to him in faith. It is the faith acting with confidence in what we hope for and the assurance that the lord is working, even though we cannot see it. Faith knows that no matter what the situation, in our lives or someone else's that the lord is working at it. God communicates through his glory of creations, through dreams, visions, signs circumstances and our thoughts. For many when God speaks they feel it in their heart and mind. Often ordinary minds conclude God is not listening when they do not receive what they may have desired. Not realising that a denial is a giving too. A form of correction for what may just be right for you at that time, a conditioning of improving you, short term pains for long term gains.

It may just be quite a learning for knowing the “Avastha” of those minds that are in communication with their divine “Because He is”….

When they prepare a meal... they prepare it as if God is going to be sitting at their table. Because He is….

When they work... they work as if God is their customer. Because He is..

When they clean their house... they clean it as if God is going to be their special guest. Because He is….

And when they speak with another... they speak as if they were speaking with God. Because He is….

Many religions believe that a good relationship with God starts with steady prayer of communication with Him. God will likely not respond verbally to your prayers, but there are signs that show He is listening, least you pay much attention.
