“Nindho Nindho Moko Log Nindho“ (Slander me, slander me, go ahead people & slander me) “ - Bhagat Kabir.

In my last post you have read how sinful it is to do others Nindha, & if you research to read through scriptures they strongly warn us in doing so. The foolish slanderer brings upon himself many suffering & pains and to the contrary brings goodness to the other person. Bhagat Kabir's writings slander me, slander me, go ahead and slander me comes with great reasons and he further writes “Nindha is pleasing to the Lords humble servant, Nindha is my father, Nindha is my mother, If I am slandered I go to Gods home. The Nindha is wishing me longer life, Nindha is my salvation. The slanderer drowns while I am carried across. It is said Kabir ji was once found crying so was asked what happened, he replied a man in the neighborhood died and that man always indulged in talking wrong and bad about him. In spite of the person slandering Kabir ji loved and had affection for him. Kabir ji was sad now the dirty linen of his sins which that person washed with Nindha will not happen now.

If by now there is an awareness and understanding we must graduate to take appropriate actions. Begin with imposing a self restrain, then talk to the family to stop doing anyone's Nindha, spread the culture at the work place. Under the garb of freedom of speech if a nation adopts it, slander will deprive the nation of its greatness, its reputation and create an unamendable dissension in the nation. Food for thought here….. Platforms that incite such expressions must refrain, those who voice views to refrain, lastly as a listener refrain to give your viewership to such public speakers who do Nindha .
