SEEK MORE THAN ALREADY HAVE

There is never a peak where as humans we have achieved and seen everything we would want in life. I quote a writer with stronger words on the matter. “Humans are not designed to be happy, or even content. We are designed primarily to survive and reproduce, like every other creature in the natural world. A state of contentment is discouraged by nature because it would lower our guard against possible threats to our survival”.
The fire for desire for many humans is deep within and all actions contribute in fulfilling ones desire. Greed is the one word for the hungry and thirsty seeking more than already have; unsatisfied people who remain hungry and thirsty. Their positions often we glorify overlooking how they achieved it. The greed could arise for material possessions or self-importance. Unable to distinguish between good or bad it’s a disease they suffer with. Greed is a natural instinct, right through our upbringing with people influencing our development (trainers/employers) many leave no explanations to push our limits fulfilling their desires through our achievement’s and success. Sooner we take their positions and push others in doing it for us, resulting in the whole world burning in the fire of greed. Scholar Damien explains in his book; people perceive material things as stable and permanent and we desire to hold on to them. But since loss is inevitable our desire for things causes us to suffer. Our response to that suffering is often grasping at things more and more tightly and we end up harming others in our quest to make ourselves better.”
The caption Seek More Than Already Have when used with another aspect of our life seems to bring in so many corrections in our life and a blissful experience about life. There are souls in a better state of mind filled with generosity; they are not worried about their resources not being enough if they give to others. In the company of the holy when they seek more of God’s love than they already have, all that keeps coming to them is kindness, satisfaction in mind, good fortune and everlasting peace. The state when one is cool, content soothed and peaceful the greediness thirst is quenched. As a family if our expressions of great fullness are often said and practiced each day, such souls are in constant gratitude with their creator. God is not in a building but in the lives of His people. Giving them is giving back to God. Experience the joy of being able to help or bless others or to be an answer to someone prayers.
Let’s be blessed to be a blessing.
