SUPPORT FOR THE UNSUPPORTED

With all the wealth and comforts a King & Queen were sad as they had no child. Failure of medicines and yagna’s one day the Vazir proposed to the King to perform a child bali. The King considered that unfair and what guarantee a child will be born. The Vazir put the King’s worries to rest by telling him they will announce and only if a family is willing to sacrifice their son we shall conduct. Announcement was made and in response a father of a large poor family agreed. The poor father explained to his youngest son how his sacrifice will bring in lot of money and the rest of the family needs can then be well met. The King met the family for their consent before they planned a ceremony. At the ceremony all courtiers and a large praja was present. The King asks the boy do you have a last wish. The boy answered yes I want to play for some time to which the king agreed. He started to collect mud and created four separate mud piles. He then walked to the first mud pile looked at it for some time cried, murmured something then kicks it down. Goes to the second pile looks at it for a while and then kicks it too. He then walks to the 3rd pile smiles and murmurs then uses his hand to hit the pile. He then approaches the 4th pile kneels down, starts crying and murmurs. In some time gets up without kicking walks up to the king and says I am ready. The king was filled with curiosity as to what game was this and asks the kid to explain. The kid explains the first pile were my parents. Being the youngest sibling instead of receiving their care, support and parenting, they let me down. The second pile was the praja/samaj who also failed to support and oppose. The third was my King whose emotions blinded his support for his subject. The fourth pile is my Parmatma, I prayed for his support as I know he can do what he wants and save me anytime thus left the pile as I have faith he will support me. The king gets up and walks up to his queen and indulges in a quiet conversation. Later he walks back to his throne and expresses their wish to adopt the child and crown him prince. Listening to this the kid runs to the fourth pile and says I knew you could support me.

The True Lord is the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts.

With Your Support, my mind is filled with Your Power.

Here and there, You are my Court of Appeal.

I take Your Support, and place my faith in You.
