When you are speaking, writing or relaying information in another fashion, you can imply indicating aspect or existence of something by suggestion rather than explicit reference. To imply is to hint at something without directly stating it. That something is indicated as a case in an indirect way which makes you think that it is likely the case.

While implying that something it may or may not necessarily be substantially close to reality but a construction to influence a wrong propaganda is quite possible. Legally speaking it is said circumstances, conduct or statements which suggest the authority to act, warranty, promise, or consent, among other things (rather than stating directly) are considered to be implied.

There is much use of implied contracts as it allows for much flexibility in negotiation and they are not constrained by rigidly defined terms and conditions. These are particularly useful in situations where formal written contracts are not practical or feasible, such as informal business transactions or personal arrangements

It is also true some things implied stand tall in their interpretations for example when there are limitations it implies possibilities. A library implies an act of faith. To wonder implies the desire to learn. Originality implies being bold enough to go beyond accepted norms.

Handling those who imply, the reader or listener then is left to draw own conclusions from what something has been stated or spoken by exercising caution, good discretion and wisdom. To some learning implies a mind that doesn’t know. The march of science and technology does not imply growing intellectual complicity in the lives of most people, it often means the opposite. Selfless giving does not imply superiority and capability does not imply success.

The skills to imply something’s have been in use as expressions in many professions, in the service sectors, in media, in marketing strategies and in ads that influence us most.  It has also been with relationships at work, society or family largely influencing expressions that simply imply. That’s why it is said the notion of implied meaning is the root of misunderstanding.

To infer is closely related to imply, but they shouldn't be used interchangeably. Infer means to draw a conclusion from some evidence—in other words, to pick up on something that was implied while to imply we are aware by now it is to suggest something indirectly. Better to be in company of ‘infer’ which concludes (something) from evidence and reasoning than from explicit statements. An important learning here while the speaker does the implying, the listener does the inferring.

To bring about changes in reducing the dominance to imply all it requires the change in a person.
