“CONCENTERATE” ... most likely every reader to this article has told someone to concentrate and quite possible was told by someone to concentrate too. In our process of ageing and doing things we all have been distracted by someone or something preventing us from concentrating on something else.

The non-acceptance or the understanding that “I get distracted” is the bigger reason for one’s failure to better and reap benefits by doing things with concentration. We are frequent wrongdoers to many an indiscipline in our lives. Often simple actions where the body and mind are going in different directions we experience mediocrity and failure. What we keep practicing is what we better and for many who are easily distracted only seem to be improving in it. Making reference of a report which said on an average we experience an interruption every 7- 8 minutes per hour. In an 8 hour this is around 60 interruptions lasting around 5 minutes so it is about 5 hours out of 8 hours. Most people can’t concentrate for two reasons one they were never taught how to and the failure by people to practice concentration.

What you want to engage with and Who is Incharge must be one’s concern. Most of the time something or someone is what we allow to control us. Every instrument, gadget, equipment comes with a manual. Strangely that mind which creates/designs/produces other products has never had a manual. It takes a life time for many to be able to conquer the mind. The nature of the mind is such that it gets distracted easily. Use of digital media often many tend to believe we have taken to multitasking which actually is switching rapidly between different activities.

Concentration is an ability to keep your mind in awareness on one thing for an extended period of time. This mind set betters your observation taking your mind to a higher state of mind. Many have started to identify this weakness and explore the secrets to focus on concentration by practicing a discipline to visualize, seeing details, having faith, combining and captivating mental and emotional energies bringing mind and body into unison for the task in hand. Deliberate reducing distractions and being more self-disciplined about use of our social media keeps you in focus and the results are easily felt by you and those around you.

For those who chant (repeating) the lords Name, it is helpful in achieving easy concentration.

(The writer was distracted this weekend lowered the concentration guard result a delay in the post.)
