A lady chewing paan spitted from her balcony which landed on a passing by mahatma. The mahatma stopped to look around whose kindness it was. He noticed a young lady with guilty looks. While mahatma was staring at the lady a man walked up to him and said this is a tawaif ghar do not expect an apology move on. The lady seeing the Mahatma staring at her, her ego hurt got agitated called her yaar from the room and yelled “I did not do it intentionally but how dare he stares at me, how can you tolerate this”. The yaar in an act of impulse picked a wooden stick, ran down stairs up to the mahatma and hit him on the head. Beating him black & blue left the mahatma bleeding and lying on the floor. The lady from the balcony noticed the mahatma giving no resistance and seeing her yaar returning, proudly claps for him.

Running up the stairs the yaar slips and badly falls rolling down the stairs. Hearing the scream the lady rushes out of her house to see her yaar almost in the same condition bleeding lying on the floor as the mahatma was. The lady realized that the mahatma is no ordinary and that they have done a serious wrong. She runs over to the Mahatma who was still on the floor and with folded hands extended her apology. The Mahatma smiles and says yeh "Yaar Aur Yaar Ki Ladai Hai". My Yaar (Lord) could not see his disciple being subject to disrespect and took action. Your yaar wrongly influenced by your ego took actions to please you. He continued speaking in a soft voice to the lady, your Yaar comes in the night and leaves in the morning and comes to you sometimes. My Yaar stays with me, walks and sleeps with me. You too must do yari with my yaar as HIS Yari can bring you much bliss in your physical form and when your physical is no more. The words of wisdom from mahatma changed her way of life.

Bharosa helps you meet the divine ‘early’ and ‘easy’.

Baba Farid underwent severe penance and asceticism to find God and once hung himself in a well for forty days. He wrapped his feet with chains suspending himself upside down in his devotion of meeting the Divine. A young shepherd boy passing by asked what he was doing. Faridji answered my effort to meet God. The boy went ahead and his bhola mind decides to meet God too. He spots a tree next to a deep valley. In spite of the deep valley he climbed the tree and used green grass strands as rope and tied himself upside down. Bharosa in God overcame all fear and dangers he was putting himself to. In minutes the boy's bholapan earned God's darshan and blessings. On return the overwhelmed boy shared his experience of meeting God with Faridji. Wondering why he is failing Faridji hears a voice “you had very little faith in me because you trusted the chains to hold you, while the bhola lad did not worry about the deep valley nor the tender grass strands. He just did it with complete Bharosa”

Have a Yaar(Divine) who is forever with you with unflinching Bharosa.

deen da-i-aal bharosay tayray. O Lord, Merciful to the meek, I have placed my faith in You;

along with all my family, I have come aboard Your boat.

When it is pleasing to Him, then He inspires us to obey the Hukam of His Command.

He causes this boat to cross over. SGGS337
