Bhool Sudhar bandeya, ab nahi to kab.

Sudhar happens if one realises there is a Bhool done. When you fix a mistake, you make a correction, A change that rights a wrong. Correction also applies to punishment, which is another way to right a wrong. A correction is an improvement or a revision when there's something that needs to be fixed.

The importance to self-correction as said in Quran “That is the recompense for those who purify themselves.” Our mind is generating loads of thoughts about how this person or that group needs to shape up and change their behaviours, completely ignoring the fact that we fail just as regularly in our own personal areas of weakness.

There is a blessing in correction least we understand its importance. If we can feel the good one does, one also gets that feel of the wrong doings but we quickly wrap or ignore it. Subject yourself to a few moments of introspection with your thoughts, actions, and words. This conscious effort surely gives lesser opportunities to the Lord to beat the egocentrics in you and correct ones foolishness. A simple attitude to be open for correction can help reduce the ever excess baggage of our bad Karmas we hold.

Blessed is the person who allows another person to communicate a correction for his wrong doings. Scriptures share the guideline on how to respond to correction of others and also how to correct others. Those who practice the ministry of correction understand the responsibility is essential, not easy and definitely not to be taken upon lightly.

In correcting others there are several guide lines, to mention a few: the motive and the objective, knowing of facts in totality, is my life an example, reasonable relationship to connect with the person, appropriate wordings to correct others and the timings are important. Something by a personal experience, Corrections must be as private as the wrong.

Another important learning from scriptures “Don’t approach a person about a correction until you have approached God about the person.”

Often God answers prayers and one does not have to encounter the person. At other times he shall inflict a thought process into you (sadhbudi) with the motives and goals and also prepare the other persons heart to listen to you.

The divine helps & heals the wound of the one being corrected.
