How often or do we at all stop to think to learn about ourselves. A little directed thinking each day could result in becoming a more powerful version of ourselves, being more competent in solving our daily challenges better.
Contemplation or pondering allows you to notice the negative patterns in your life and can help you face your fears or to redefine your life. The charity one needs to do for self is to isolate time to be able think consciously and use our experiences and knowledge about our lives, ourselves and our situation. This then helps discover a more effective path through life. Contemplative practices can exist within a range of life contexts, including religion, spirituality, performing arts, philosophical, personal development or professional practice, martial arts and more.
The power of contemplation to your life can begin with simple beginnings. Make contemplation a priority. Decide that you’re going to spend some time alone each day to think things over. Then have a purpose how to spend your time before you begin. Examine your day. What happened today? What can you learn from it? What went wrong? What do you need to do to fix it? Little time in contemplation involves rational thinking and exercising mans' highest faculties, which is an end in itself.
No life is worth to be kept as busy as not having time to rest your mind and body each day. From the Greek philosopher Plato to Buddha ji, to modern psychology forefathers the value of contemplation as a means of fostering well-being and wisdom has been known for a long time. Spiritual Teachings say it hard for most souls who do not contemplate their God, are but entangled in association with their enemies and the enjoyment of pleasures and sadly the soul is burning with them.
By Guru's Grace, contemplate spiritual knowledge; read it and study it, and you shall be honoured.
Within the self, the self is revealed, when one is blessed with the Ambrosial Naam, the Name of the Lord. SGGS1329
The five thieves are conquered, and peace is attained; such is the contemplative wisdom of God.
The One Lord is said to be in each and every heart, but no one can see Him. SGGS1330
CONTEMPLATION IS THE SOUL’S INWARD VISION AND THE HEARTS SIMPLE RESPONSE IN GOD.
