A king announced to make monetary offering to his elderly and poor subjects. Large crowd started queuing outside his palace on the designated day early at dawn.

Joining the queue was a fakir and as his turn would come close he would offer his position to some elderly in queue far behind and go stand in their place. He kept doing this several times. Hours passed by, soon people started talking more about the fakir’s actions than the king’s generosity. The king summoned the Fakir and questioned him, why he was doing what he was doing. The fakir replied I am doing what you are doing. You are offering what you can afford I am offering what I can afford; standing in queue to offer my turn to someone in need.

For most phase of our life we are all in queue focused to acquire worldly things for ourselves. Such strong are our desires to continuously queue to take, many soon fail to realize that they can offer too. Charity is not about offering money and never think what you have to offer is insignificant, as there will always be someone out there who needs what you can give.

Professionals can offer their expertise to the underprivileged. A person offering his time for elder’s at home or for souls left at homes for the aged or homeless patients in Municipal Hospitals is much comfort and happiness for them. One can offer participation in neighborhood projects to keep the environment safer and assist government services to operate better and accountable.

No special gyan to understand that prizes life offers comes from hard work worthy in doing. There are souls who do not have much to offer but they are an assurance to you to have the best of them. If you want the best from the world be the first to offer your best to it, but stay conscious not to offer the wrong things than what the other deserves. Don’t lecture a person who needs your hug.

Many advocate that life does not offer a second chance but ever wondered why life brings a tomorrow a kind of a second chance to accomplish yesterday's unfinished or a second chance to rectify the wrongs and penance for yesterday, or knowing more about the Creator and be in gratitude. With the slightest presence of spirituality within, one can never miss what the Creator has to offer; a feel of higher sense of purpose, peace, hope and to experience better confidence, self-esteem, and self-control. When unwell, it can help you feel inner strength and result in faster healing. It can surely help to make sense and meaning of your experiences in life.

All Holy Scriptures in many ways say to keep offering humble prayers to the Lord, seeking His sanctuary, His mercy and His blessings. Make sure when in queue to take, we also offer prayers each day for family, Sarbat ka Bhalla and oneself.

Gurbani in Ang55 says “satgur agai ardaas kar saajan day-ay milaa-ay”... "Offer your most sincere prayers to the True Guru, so that He may unite you with your Best Friend.

Meeting your Best Friend, you shall find peace; the Messenger of Death shall take poison and die.

I dwell deep within the Name; the Name has come to dwell within my mind. Without the Guru, there is only pitch darkness; without the Shabad, understanding is not obtained. Through the Guru's Teachings, you shall be enlightened; remain absorbed in the Love of the True Lord. "

When Caring With People, They Will Offer Part Of Themselves
