A middle aged spiritual person was walking an uphill path. On his shoulders were packets of his belongings wrapped in cloth (jholas). His slow footsteps were an expression of his tiredness. A young girl with a child in arms murmuring along was walking the same path much faster. As she walked passed him he looked at her for some time and then called out to her to wait as he had a question. The young girl stopped and the person on reaching the girl asked her, you seem to walk so fast although you are carrying burden that seems heavier than mine, but you do not seem to feel tired at all.

She smiled and replied on my back is my younger brother who is very dear and in my hands are some food items the family is going to enjoy soon. Caring and doing things with love and affection I feel no burden. Regarding my murmuring you seemed to hear was my frequent reminder to self and my brother to thank the mountain who is taking our weight and whenever my brother expresses amusement to any cloud, insect, crawling creature, bird, animal, tree or flower we keep thanking (shukaranna) the lord for his creations that keeps us fascinated and blissful. The man blessed the girl and her brother and bid them goodbye while he decided to sit down. He opened his jhola and removed a few tattered collections of papers and wrote on one empty page “It is not what you do that counts, it is your thinking that needs to be changed to feel beyond”.

Learning happens anywhere and everywhere, it depends how welcoming your mind is. If you have taught yourself to learn from any one and everything, you get a larger scope and dimension of learning. The child gives birth to a mother, an employee can have teachings for the boss, a voter can advise a leader. Be a learner at all age from any age there is greatness in all as the Creator is present in all and we need to feel and absorb within us ‘ONENESS’ of everything. Those who realize so understand their purpose and bring meaning to their life and those around.

Divine’s Naam simran is a great binding force and it was expressive even in the actions of Hanuman & his Banar Sena, facilitating Ramji to cross over the waters to Lanka. As they put rocks into water creating a setu, while the stones floated they had to be bonded together. Hanuman then had his Divine’s Naam Ra written on one stone and Ma on alternate stone and these kept the stones bound together for all to cross over safely.

The day we allow His Naam prevail over our individuality we stop motivating ourselves with feelings, emotions of worldly greed and what prevails is His better understanding. The reason many are unable to overcome their addictions is the absence of Naam to override their weakness.

The universe is playing different characters with us. There is but one actor with different roles. When you realize who is playing the role wisdom has arrived within you and you realize and feel your transformation adapting to be part of the universe rather than changing others or changing yourself to worldly desires.
