As You Make Us Act So We Act….. with this learning each one must realise the Haume ( I ) in you, actually has no control, neither by you nor by others under the divine law. Learn to accept Hukum in happiness as well as miseries with the same state of mind, as it is being given by the One Merciful God.
It is not about acceptance and then sit back, as in adverse conditions many people have exercised their ability as Hukum and overcome their challenges, pain and suffering. We have the blind people highly educated and successful business heads, handicapped yet they are great mouth and foot painting artists, climbing the Himalaya with an artificial leg, there are several rags to riches realities, those in disease and illness have survived terminal stages, coming alive after days from debris of natural calamities etc.
Shame and blame should have no place in our body, mind and soul. Getting in line with reality and command we let go our major fault ego. Pray for His grace to overcome the Hukum he commands to us and seek the ability to cope with it. In conclusion leave you with more verses of wisdom, from Gurbani, on reality and universal truth.
paarbarahm pooran parmaysur man taa kee ot gaheejai ray. He is the Supreme Lord God, the Perfect Transcendent Lord; O my mind, hold tight to the Support of the One who established the solar systems and galaxies. Chant the Name of that Lord.
Renounce the intellectual cleverness of your mind, O humble servants of the Lord; understanding the Hukam of His Command, peace is found.
Whatever God does, accept that with pleasure; in comfort and in suffering, meditate on Him.
The Creator emancipates millions of sinners in an instant, without a moment's delay.
The Lord, the Destroyer of the pain and sorrow of the poor, blesses those with whom He is pleased.
He is Mother and Father, the Cherisher of all; He is the Breath of life of all beings, the Ocean of peace.
While giving so generously, the Creator does not diminish at all. The Source of jewels, He is All-pervading. SGGS 209
ko-ee bolai raam raam ko-ee khudaa-ay. Some call Him, 'Raam, Raam', and some call Him, 'Khudaa-i'. Some serve Him as 'Gusain', others as 'Allaah'.
He is the Cause of causes, the Generous Lord. He showers His Grace and Mercy upon us.
Some bathe at sacred shrines of pilgrimage, and some make the pilgrimage to Mecca. Some perform devotional worship services, and some bow their heads in prayer.
Some read the Vedas, and some the Koran. Some wear blue robes, and some wear white. Some call themselves Muslim, and some call themselves Hindu. Some yearn for paradise and others long for heaven.
Says Nanak, one who realizes the Hukam of God's Will, knows the secrets of his Lord and Master. SGGS Ang 885
